Spain

A morning on the beach I read "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway. One of his most famous novels from the year of 1926, which earned him great fame. The youth these days apparently went insane, and the female audience began to dress in short skirts. At least they say so. Basically, it describes Hemingway’s hedonistic enjoyment in Spain and his perverted love for bullfighting. We passed the Pyrenees, across the Costa Brava, Barcelona to Portugal and the Atlantic coast of Spain to Donostia San Sebastian. The first day in Barcelona we have signed a petition against bullfighting as I believe that it is the most shameful cowardice allowed in the European Union.

Costa Brava is the name of a part of the Spanish Mediterranean coast, which stretches from the French border down to Barcelona. Basically, it’s sand with an occasional stone or cliff.
Costa Brava, miles and miles of sandy beach. Ideal place to find solitude, swimming, illegal camping or barbecue.

Costa Brava, Santa Suzanna, camping, barbecue, drinking and a lot of other things in the camp by the beach with our good friends Billy and Maria from Ireland and local Spaniards and Moroccans. Due to some specific events and permanent police visits to the camp, we concluded that it is held by a kind of mafia organization.
Barcelona, overcrowded urban beach for swimming, drinking and purchase of hashish.
If you can’t get hashish on the beach, go to a place like this in a maze of alleyways of the old part of Barcelona. You can also obtain some Peyote cactus, high quality natural masterpiece like LSD or similar stuff. Although this is a legitimate store, even to me it is not clear how this can be sold. For specific products you still have to ask in an illegal manner as they are “under the counter”. How I understood this, the same stuff is decriminalized and permitted to use for medical purposes.
One of the most recognizable symbols of Barcelona, Sagrada Familia, Cathedral of the Holy Family. It is a masterpiece of the architect Antonio Gaudi and is still unfinished due to his sudden death.
Gay Circus in Barcelona.
Barcelona is full of beautiful parks embellished by palm trees and parrots that live in them.
Donostia San Sebastian, a town on the west coast of the Atlantic just near the border with France. The place has everything that a city must have, a surf beach, a beach for swimming, a beach for walking, a camping at the top of the hill, a fort on top of a hill, good people for socializing and a huge Jesus who watches over all. Pictures are below.

View at the town from the fortress.
In the city.
